グリークラブの前顧問が解雇されたことを耳にしたシュー先生が、校長にグリークラブの顧問を申し出る。

＠職員休憩室

Shu:　Where's the coffe pot?
コーヒーどこ？

Ken:　Figgins got rid of it.Budget cuts.
You know, I know for a fact.that they are still getting hot java at Carver.We shold strike.
校長が撤去した。予算カットだと。そのくせ自分たちは飲み放題なんだぞ。ストライキしよう。

Su:　Hey boys, Who needs a pick-me-up?
お二人さん一杯いかが？

Ken:　Wow,lattes!
わーラテだ。

Su:　Yeah, I am a bit of a coffee snob.Now,the key to a perfect latte, is in the temperature of the steamed milk.I like mine scalding.
わたしコーヒーにはうるさいの。カフェラテのおいしさは、ミルクの温度が決め手よ。アッツアツじゃないと。

Emm:What's with all the lattes ?
そのラテどうしたの？

Su:　Oh, Emma, I just felt so awful that Figgins cut the coffe budget to pay for a nuturitions for the Cheerios.
だってみんなに申し訳なくて。校長がコーヒーの予算をチア部の栄養士に回したの

Emma:　Yeah, I heard you guys went, like, $600 over budget on that.
聞いたわ。お宅の部、600ドルもの予算オーバーだそうね。

Su :　My performers didn't get on Fox Sports Net last year because they ate at Bacon Junction.
うちのパフォーマーが去年イマイチだったのは、ジャンクフードのせいさ。

Emma:　Since when are cheerleaders performers?
パフォーマー？ただのチアリーダーでしょ？

Su:　Your resentment(嫉妬) is delicious.Well, I have a phoner in a couple of minutes.It's an interview on the telephone with a major madia outlet.I'll probably do it on my iPhone.Enjoy.
あんたの嫉妬、大好物さ。あと2-3分で電話がくる。インタビューでね。マスコミから電話取材頼まれてしまってて。iPhone取りにいかなきゃ。ごゆっくり。

Shu:　Thanks a lot, Sue.

Ken:　I missed you at the, uh, singles mixer(合コン) last weekend, Emma.
残念だったよ。週末の合コンに来なくって。
Emma:　Yeah, I know. Big pipe exploded in my building.It was wild(もう大騒ぎ). I hate those mixer things though, don't you ?I mean, it's like a big meat market.It's just ugh.I did give my number to a fireman though.But he hasn't called.
あぁ、あの日。アパートの配水管が破裂して、大騒ぎよ。それに合コンって嫌いなの。肉の見本市みたいで。前に一度電話番号を渡したけどー、相手は消防士。でも連絡はー

Shu:　You know what, there's someone out there for everyone. I wouldn't even sweat it.
今にあう人が見つかるよ。心配ない。

Emma:　Hey, did you hear that Sandy Ryerson got fired?
あ、サンディ先生がクビって知ってる？

Shu:　Well, who's going to take over Glee Club?
ほんと？グリークラブはどうなるの？

Emma:　Don't know.
さあね

Shu:　I'd like to take over Glee Club.
グリーの顧問にしてください。

校長:　You want to captain the Titanic, too ?
タイタニックの船長になりたいか？

Shu :　I think I can make it great again.There is no joy in these kids.They feel invisible.That's why every one of them has a MySpace page.
復活させてみせます。今あまりに目立たない部だ。そのせいで部員は、ネットの投稿ページにはまってます。

校長:　60 bucks a month.
月60ドルかかるよ。クラブは維持費がかかる。

Shu:　And you-you expect me to pay it?
え、まさか僕に負担しろと？

校長:　I'm certainly not going to pay for it.We're not talking about Cheerios here, Will.They were on Fox Sports Net last year.When Glee Club starts bringing that kind of prestige(名誉) to the school again, you can have all the money you want.Until then, 60 bucks a month. And you've got to use the costumes and props(小道具) you already have. But we need the stools for wood shop.

つぶす気でいたからねぇ。チアリーダーなら私も金を出す。あそこは去年もテレビに出てる。グリークラブだって復活して有名になった暁には、好きなだけ予算をだすよ。それまで月60ドルは君持ち。衣装や道具はあるもので済ませろ。椅子はもう売約済みだな。
